10th edition of the Festival au DĂ©sert was unfortunately relocated from the remoteness of Essakane to the outskirts of Timbuktu but was nonetheless a great experience with a wealth of stars contributing to the magic. Amongst the long list of musical treats were such names as Afel Bocoum, Amadou & Mariam, Bassekou KouyatĂ© and Ami Sacko, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Habib KoĂŻtĂ©, Khaira Arby, Koudede, Mamar Kassey, Tartit, Terakaft and Tinariwen.
